Urgent: U.S. dollar rises after ECB decision

The U.S. dollar climbed against most other major currencies on Thursday as investors pondered over the European Central Bank' s (ECB) decision to keep interest rates unchanged.

In late New York trading, the euro gained to 1.1257 dollars from 1.1239 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 102.50 Japanese yen, higher than 101.77 yen of the previous session. Enditem
