British FTSE 100 rises 0.30 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday rose by 0.30 percent, or 20.53 points, to 6,846.58 points.

Share price of Ashtead Group increased by 3.34 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Royal Dutch Shell B, Antofagasta, Royal Dutch Shell A and International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 1.93 percent, 1.89 percent, 1.83 percent and 1.78 percent respectively.

Berkeley Group Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.05 percent, following by Barratt Developments (2.92 percent), Taylor Wimpey (2.51 percent), Worldpay Group (2.38 percent) and Persimmon (2.03 percent). Endit
