Xinhua, September 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

Pre-schedule voting in the elections of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus started on Tuesday.

Belarusian citizens, who will not be able to vote on Sunday, the main polling day, can cast their votes from Tuesday till Saturday inclusively.

Under new election rules, this year's elections will be held in one round and without stipulation of a minimum turnout. The results will be determined by a simple majority.

Fairly active international and domestic observation will be conducted during the voting process.

The missions from the Commonwealth of Independent States and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights have the biggest international representatives therein. Endi
