Spanish stock market rises 0.50 pct, closes at 8,953 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.50 percent on Monday to close at 8,953.30 points, up from the 8,908.90 points of Friday.

On Monday session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 2.87 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, ACS, Telefonica, Acerinox and REC that lost 1.79 percent, 1.73 percent, 1.72 percent, 1.72 percent and 1.19 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Grifols shares led falls losing 0.67 percent, followed by Viscofan, IAG, Banco Sabadell, Merlin and Amadeus that lost 0.32 percent, 0.26 percent, 0.24 percent, 0.24 percent and 0.15 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 105.80 points, down from the 108.60 of Friday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Friday. Endit
