3rd LD: Twin suicide attacks kill 10 people, wound 30 in Kabul

Up to 10 people have been confirmed dead and 30 others injured in the twin blasts that went off near Afghan Defense Ministry on Monday, spokesman for Interior Ministry Sediq Sediqi said.

Sediqi told local media that so far 10 people including civilians and security personnel have been confirmed dead and 30 others wounded in the blasts.

Exact number of casualties would be shared with media after completion of investigation, which has been initiated into the case, he added.

The twin blasts, according to eyewitnesses occurred at 03:30 p.m. local time when the employees of defense ministry were coming out from the gate after their duties.

Security personnel have cordoned off the area and do not allow journalists to get access to the site of blasts. Endit
