The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Friday.

-- Zambia has started the implementation of an electronic cargo tracking system to help promote transparency, accountability and curb transit fraud, its revenue collection agency said.

The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) to enable the usage of the system. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- A Finnish business delegation is expected in Zambia this month to conduct a feasibility study to ascertain how best they could add value to the forest industry in the southern African nation.

Zambia National Association of Sawmillers president William Bwalya said Haggblom and Partners, a group of private companies in Finland, would be in the country from September 8 to 10.

The delegation, he said, would visit the cities of Kitwe and Ndola in the Copperbelt Province to conduct a feasibility study and ascertain how they could invest in forest value addition. (Times of Zambi
