Kyrgyzstan celebrates 25th anniversary of independence

Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday celebrated the 25th anniversary of the country's independence.

A military parade was held in the center of Bishkek after a speech of President Almazbek Atambayev.

This year's Independence Day celebrations were held amid tight security after Tuesday's suicide car bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek, which left three Kyrgyz employees of the embassy injured and the bomber killed. Endi
