Macedonia, BiH willing to further boost bilateral cooperation

Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) are ready to work more in order to further enhance bilateral relations, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov and member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Covic said Wednesday.

Macedonia is interested in further advancing overall relations and cooperation with BiH, the Macedonian president told Covic, stressing readiness to work together for the realization of the aspirations of the two countries to join EU and NATO.

The Macedonian president's office announced after the meeting that the two officials agreed that dialogue, swift accession to Euro-Atlantic institutions and infrastructure connectivity were needed for a political, economic and security consolidation in southeast Europe. Endit
