Spanish stock market rises 0.36 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.36 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,716.80 points, up from the 8,685.40 points of Tuesday.

Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 4.75 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Mapfre, Bankinter, Bankia and Caixabank that rose 2.34 percent, 2.24 percent, 2.19 percent, 1.89 percent and 1.47 percent respectively.

ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 3.62 percent, followed by IAG, Amadeus, Indra A Acerinox and Mediaset that lost 2.10 percent, 1.80 percent, 1.61 percent, 0.89 percent and 0.87 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 107.80 points, up from the 103.80 points of Tuesday closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.015 percent, also above the 0.9 percent of Tuesday closing time. Endit
