Ronaldinho releases Paralympics musical tribute

Xinhua, August 31, 2016 Adjust font size:

Football great Ronaldinho has shown his musical talent by publishing a music video that pays tribute to the world's Paralympic athletes.

Clips of the song entitled "I'm from the world, a winner" has already been seen more than a million times, barely a day after being posted on Instagram.

Ronaldinho performed the song alongside Brazilian musicians Jhama and Pablo Luiz.

The president of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee, Andrew Parsons, hailed the initiative for helping to "engage fans" and support Brazil's bid to finish in the top five in the Rio Paralympic medal standings.

"When Ronaldinho spoke to us and showed us the song, we immediately saw that it represented the spirit of Paralympic athletes," Parsons said.

Ronaldinho is an official ambassador for the Paralympic Games, which will run from September 7 to 18. Endit
