Spanish stock market rises 0.80 pct, closes at 8,685 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.80 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,685.40 points, up from the 8,616.40 points of Monday.

Mediaset shares led rises climbing 2.11 percent, followed by Mapfre, BBVA, DIA, Indra A and IAG that rose 1.98 percent, 1.98 percent, 1.70 percent, 1.64 percent and 1.52 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 1.15 percent, followed by Acerinox, Enagas, Endesa, REC and Cellnex that lost 1.10 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.26 percent and 0.23 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 103.80 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday. Endit
