Xinhua, August 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

Five of China's over 30 provincial localities have completed discipline inspections on their directly administered agencies, an official statement said Tuesday.

According to the statement, which drew on information released by provincial anti-graft authorities, the inspections covered Communist Party of China (CPC) organizations and departments directly administered by the provincial level authorities.

The inspections included reviews of the work in 263 Party organizations in Guizhou Province; 266 in Yunnan; 348 in Shanxi; 310 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; and 312 in Jiangxi.

To reinforce counter-corruption efforts, inspections have emerged as a major tool to better govern the Party in recent years, the statement said. Endi
