The Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing that struck an army recruiting center in Yemen's southern port city of Aden on Monday, which killed at least 65 and injured more than 80 others.

TEHRAN -- Iran identified a U.S. unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) east of the county on Monday and warned it to stay away from its airspace, Tasnim news agency reported.

STOCKHOLM --- A school near Gothenburg in western Sweden was evacuated Monday after a bomb threat.

KUNDUZ, Afghanistan -- Four police were killed and three others injured as a roadside bomb blast organized by militants struck a police van in Khan Abad district of the northern Kunduz province on Monday, a local official Qudratullah Safi said.
"A mine planted by Taliban rebels on a road in Khan Abad district struck a police vehicle at around noon time killing four police personnel on the spot and injuring three others," Safi told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

MANILA -- Twelve government soldiers were killed and five others were wounded in a firefight with Abu Sayyaf militants in Sulu Province of southern Philippines Monday afternoon, according to military.
