As many as 137 Vietnamese enterprises have registered to attend the 13th China-ASEAN Expo to be held in southern China in September, according to Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency on Monday.

Vietnamese enterprises will display products with competitiveness in Chinese market, including agro-fishery-forestry products, handicrafts, consumption goods, construction materials, tourism products, among others, at the expo to be held in Nanning, China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Sept. 11-14.(China-ASEAN-Expo)

MOSCOW -- Over 5,400 Chinese tourists visited Russian Transbaikal region on a visa-free exchange basis in the first half of the year, up 62.8 percent year on year, the Russian news agency TASS reported Monday.

In recent years, the number of tourists visiting Transbaikal region has been on the rise, and 99 percent of them are Chinese, the report said. Over 1 million tourists from China visited Russia in 2015, spending nearly 1 billion U.S. dollars, according to data from the Moscow tourism department. (Russia-China-Tourism)

SYDNEY -- A Chinese private capital group had just snapped up Sydney's Park Regis Hotel for 46 million Australian dollars (34.70 million U.S. dollars), local media reported on Monday.

The new owner of the hotel had bought the property through its operating company, Melbourne-based financial planning company Cornerstone Capital, from Sydney-based private hotel Staywell Hospitality Group.(China-Australia-Hotel Purchase)
