Kenyan, Lithuanian athletes win in Mexico City Int'l Marathon

Kenyan and Lithuanian athletes won in men's and women's races at the Mexico City International Marathon on Sunday.
The marathon has a bronze label in the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) competitions, and it is located in the 13th place in the world when it comes to this type of race.
In men's race, Kenyans Emmanuel Mnangat (2 hours 19 minutes 30 seconds), Isaack Kemboi (2:19:31) and Rodgers Ondati (2:19:50) took to the podium while in the women's competition, first place went to Lithuania's Diana Lobacevske with a time of 2:40:31.
Around 35,000 runners participated in the marathon, which passed through the streets of the Mexican capital, beginning in Juarez Avenue, in front of the Benito Juarez Hermicycle in the city centre and ending in the Olympic Stadium of the southern University City. Endit
