The Tunisian Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) approved on Friday night the line-up of new national united government headed by Youssef Chahed.
The government of 40-year-old Chahed, is composed of 26 ministers and 14 secretaries of state, including eight female members and 14 young members. Five members are less than 35 years old. Chahed will be the youngest Prime Minister since the independence of Tunisia from France in 1956. (Tunisia-Government)

MOSUL, Iraq -- Three people were killed and five others wounded on Friday when two suicide bombers from the Islamic State (IS) militant group attacked a refugee camp near a town in northern Iraq, a Kurdish security source said.
The attack occurred at dawn when one of the attackers detonated his explosive vest at the entrance of the camp near the town of Makhmour, some 40 km southeast of the IS-held city of Mosul, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-Turkey)

MINSK -- The Trilateral Contact Group for settling the situation in Donbas on Friday agreed on the necessity to absolute ceasefire in the conflict zone starting Sept. 1, 2016.
The participants of the Group in Minsk, including representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, agreed on the necessity to fully stop firing in the conflict zone starting Sept. 1, 2016, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Envoy Martin Sajdik told reporters. BRUSSELS -- An explosion hit a sports center in the southern Belgian city of Chimay early Friday, killing one person and injuring four others.
Parts of the building at the "Le Chalon" sports center was destroyed by the blast, which occurred shortly after midnight. Pieces of broken glasses could be seen dozens of meters from the building. (Belgium-Blast)

GENEVA -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told press on Friday that talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had made much headway, with minor details remaining to be addressed in view of brokering a new cessation of hostilities for war-torn Syria.
