-- The Constitutional Court has rejected 52 witness statements filed by Zambia's main opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema in a petition to challenge the re-election of President Edgar Lungu.

Hichilema and his running mate have petitioned the Constitutional Court demanding the declaration that Lungu and his running mate Inonge Wina were not validly elected in the August 11 general elections. (ZAMBIA DAILY MAIL)
