Alleged stabber of 5 people arrested in Morocco

The Moroccan police announced on Thursday the arrest of the alleged stabber of five European nationals at an Italian-owned circus in the Moroccan city of Kenitra.

According to a statement by the police, the suspect, a former employee at the circus who stabbed an Italian national to death and injured four others on Wednesday, was arrested in Casablanca.

The attack caused serious injuries to the owner of the circus, while his 18-year-old son has died, both Italians.

Three other wounded employees are all of Portuguese nationality.

The attacker was working at the circus where he committed his crime after being fired, the source added.

The suspect was remanded in custody to complete the investigation. Endit
