Spanish stock market rises 0.21 pct, closes at 8,468 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.21 percent on Monday to close at 8,468 points, up from the 8,450.60 points of Friday.

On Monday;s session, Banco Sabadell shares led rises climbing 2.08 percent, followed by IAG, Banco Popular, Mediaset, Gamesa and Caixabank that rose 1.78 percent, 1.59 percent, 1.45 percent, 1.15 percent and 0.88 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 2.22 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Gas Natural, Acerinox, Repsol and Inditex that lost 1.24 percent, 0.90 percent, 0.85 percent, 0.71 percent and 0.70 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 102.10 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with that of Friday. Endit
