Israeli army attacks Gaza town in reprisal against rockets

Israeli war jets and tanks struck Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun Sunday after two rockets were fired from the area into southern Israeli, security sources and eyewitnesses said.

The sources said it was not clear what was the target that the Israeli war fighters and tanks had hit, however, the Israeli media reported that two rockets fired from northern Gaza struck the southern Israeli town of Sderout.

The Israeli media said the rockets fired from northern Gaza caused no injuries but caused damaged to two buildings in the town. No one claimed responsibility for the rocket attack. Endit
