France expressed solidarity with Turkish authorities after a series of bomb attacks hit eastern Turkey and caused many victims, the foreign ministry said on Friday.

France extended condolences to the victims' families and expressed "wholehearted solidarity with the Turkish authorities and people," the Quai d'Orsay said in a statement.

The country also condemned "the three terrorist attacks" that killed many police officers and civilians and injured hundreds of others. Endit
