Int'l 3-Cushion Billiards Tournament opens in southern Vietnam

The 2016 International 3-Cushion Billiards Tournament kicked off in the Vietnamese province of Binh Duong on Friday.

There are 64 competitors including 58 Vietnamese players and six from South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.

On Friday, Vietnamese player Pham Quoc Nam made a surprising victory over South Korean opponent Cho Jae Ho, who is ranked the 9th in the world, with the score of 40-34.

The tournament will conclude on Aug. 21. Enditem
