Spanish stock market rises 0.74 pct, closes at 8,550 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.74 percent on Thursday to close at 8,550.10 points, up from the 8,487 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session Tecnicas Reunidas shares led rises climbing 3.98 percent, followed by Gamesa, ArcelorMittal, ACS, IAG and Mediaset that rose 3.05 percent, 3 percent, 2.10 percent, 1.66 percent and 1.65 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 2.29 percent, followed by Caixabank, Enagas, Banco Sabadell and Acciona that lost 0.72 percent, 0.71 percent, 0.42 percent and 0.03 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 99.70 points, falling from the 101.60 points of Wednesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 0.9 percent, showing no differences when compared with Wednesday closing time. Endit
