Hungary takes women's K1 500m gold in canoe sprint

Danuta Kozak from Hungary took the gold in the women's K1 500m in 1 minute and 52.494 seconds in the canoe sprint competition of the 2016 Olympic Games here on Thursday.

Emma Jorgensen from Denmark secured silver in 1:54.326, edging Lisa Carrington from New Zealand into third place in 1:54.372. Endit
