PSG striker Jese down with appendicitis

Paris Saint-Germain's summer signing Jese Rodriguez is diagnosed with appendicitis and would be out for up to three weeks, Spanish media reported on Sunday.

Sports daily AS reported that the 23-year-old would be sidelined for a month while Marca said the Spaniard would only be off the pitch for two weeks.

The former Real Madrid striker made his debut for Paris on Friday evening in the French giants' 1-0 away win at Bastia in their Ligue 1 season-opener. Endit
