Britain breaks world record to win women's team pursuit at Rio Olympics

Team Britain set a new world record to win the cycling track women's team pursuit in the Rio Olympic Velodrome here on Saturday.

Elinor Barker, Katie Archibald, Laura Trott, and Joanna Rowsell-Shand clocked a winning time of 4:10.23, a new world record, beating the American team to the second place.

Team Canada took the bronze by defeating team New Zealand. Endit
