Domestic turnover index in Macedonia's industrial sector falls 8.7 pct

The index of domestic turnover in the industrial sector in Macedonia fell 8.7 percent in June 2016 compared to June 2015, whereas the index of non-domestic turnover in industry increased by 6.9 percent, Macedonia's State Statistical Office reported on Friday.

According to official data, the turnover index in June 2016 was 103.2 on an annual basis.

The turnover index by main industrial groupings in June 2016, in comparison with June 2015, went up in capital goods by 21.5 percent and durable consumer goods by 11.5 percent, but it saw a drop in intermediate goods, except energy by 8.8 percent and non-durable consumer goods by 4.8 percent.
