Real Madrid beat Sevilla 3-2 to win Supercup

Dani Carvajal's extra-time goal gifted Real Madrid a 3-2 win over Sevilla in the European Supercup final in Trondheim of Norway on Tuesday.

Sevilla had been on the verge of victory leading 2-1 deep into added time, before Sergio Ramos equalised for Real Madrid in the 93rd minute with the last kick of normal time.

Spanish Carvajal, 24 years old, went on a run from the halfway line to score in the 119th minute to win the game for Real Madrid.

"The essence of Real Madrid is that we never give up." Carvajal said. "A goal after the 90th minute and another one at the end of the added period make us champions." Enditem
