Dollar changes hands in upper 101 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The dollar changed hands in the upper 101 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.93-94 yen compared with 101.85-95 yen in New York and 102.42-44 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1117-1118 dollars and 113.32-39 yen against 1.1112-1122 dollars and 113.21-31 yen in New York and 1.1076-1077 dollars and 133.44-48 yen in late trade on Tuesday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
