Spanish stock market rose 0.27 pct, closes at 8,562 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.27 percent on Monday to close at 8,562.50 points, up from Friday's 8,539.40 points.

On Monday's session, Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 2.32 percent, followed by Bankia, Melia Hotels, ArcelorMittal, Banco Santander and Caixabank that rose 2.06 percent, 1.97 percent, 1.93 percent, 1.75 percent and 1.63 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Inditex shares led falls losing 1.36 percent, followed by Cellnex, REC, Aena, Enagas and Merlin that lost 1 percent, 0.99 percent, 0.81 percent, 0.81 percent and 0.68 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 105.70 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.99 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday's closing time. Enditem
