Dollar changes hands at lower 101 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The dollar changed hands in the lower 101 yen zone early Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.23-24 yen compared with 101.17-27 yen in New York and 101.39-42 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1134-1135 dollars and 112.71-73 yen against 1.1125-1135 dollars and 112.62-72 yen in New York and 1.1136-1137 dollars and 112.92-96 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
