Jordan's court sentences killer of 5 intelligence members to death

A man who killed five intelligence members in Jordan was sentenced to death by the country's state security court on Thursday, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

The victims included three officers, a guard and a staff member, who were killed in a terror attack at their office near the Baqaa refugee camp in northern Amman, the capital of Jordan, in June.

Later that day, the attacker was arrested.

Jordan, a key U.S. ally, has so far prevented several militant attempts to infiltrate into the kingdom to mount terror attacks. Endit
