Vanke's sales up 14.44 pct in July

China Vanke, the country's largest listed property developer, said on Wednesday night that its sales rose 14.4 percent year on year to 27.4 billion yuan (4.1 billion U.S. dollars) in July.

In a brief statement filed to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the developer said floor space sold reached 2.08 million square meters last month.

Sales exceeded 217.5 billion yuan during the first seven months, up 62.6 percent year on year.

Vanke rose 1.53 percent to end at 17.88 yuan at Wednesday's close. Endi
