Dollar changes hands in lower 101 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 101 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo on Thursday, principally in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.33-43 yen compared with 101.20-30 yen in New York and 101.04-06 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1149-1150 dollars and 112.97-99 yen against 1.1144-1154 dollars and 112.84-94 yen in New York and 1.1212-1213 dollars and 113.29-33 yen, in late trade in Tokyo on Wednesday afternoon. Endit
