Albanian police seizes heroin worth half mln USD

Albanian police seized 5.1 kg of heroin in Tirana, capital of Albania, during an operation coded "Summer 2016," Albanian Daily News reported on Wednesday.

The police arrested two drug dealers and declared two others as wanted.

Tirana' s deputy police chief Ermal Mucaj said the two drug dealers were selling heroin in an area known as the former Bus Lot and the Ring Road in the capital.

During the raid, the police found that the two had 10 packs of heroin with them. According to Mucaj, these drugs have a market value of half a million U.S. dollars.

The police also seized guns in the vehicle of the two suspects. Endit
