Chinese stocks closed mixed Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index going up 0.24 percent to close at 2,978.46 points.

The Shenzhen index closed 0.3 percent higher at 10,281.25 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.23 percent to close at 2,128.31 points. Endi
