British FTSE 100 decreases 0.45 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.45 percent, or 30.48 points, to 6,693.95 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 2.20 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. BHP Billiton, Associated British Foods, Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Shire increased by 1.97 percent, 1.71 percent, 1.59 percent, 1.11 percent respectively.

Taylor Wimpey led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.52 percent, following by Berkeley Group Holdings (3.99 percent), Barratt Developments (3.06 percent), Royal Dutch Shell A (2.85 percent) and Persimmon (2.79 percent). Endit
