Carlos Boozer joins CBA team Guangdong Hongyuan

GUANGZHOU, China, July 31 (Xinhua) - Two-time NBA All-star Carlos Boozer has joined Chinese side Guangdong Hongyuan, the CBA team's coach confirmed on Sunday.

Guangdong Hongyuan's head coach Du Feng posted a photo with the 34-year old on Chinese twitter-like Weibo, saying, "Welcome to join us."

Du confirmed the deal later but didn't add any further information.

Boozer played for Cleveland, Utah, Chicago and Lakers in his NBA career from 2002. He averages 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds.

He didn't sign contract with any NBA team last season but has kept training to maintain his physical condition. Endit
