At least 15 wedding guests were killed and several others went missing when their bus was swept away by flood water in Pakistan's northwestern tribal area of Khyber Agency on Saturday morning, local Urdu media reported.

Samaa News reported that the incident occurred in mountainous Bazar Zakhakhel area when the bus went out of the driver's control due to flash flood in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency.

Local political administration said the exact number of the people on the bus is not known yet, but they are searching for more bodies or possible injured people in the stream formed by the flood water in the ravine.

The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

At least 20 people have been killed in separate incidents of roof collapse and flash floods triggered off by heavy rains in the country over the past one week. Endit
