Iranian military forces to join int'l army games in Russia

Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) have dispatched forces to Russia to participate in the International Army Games 2016, Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday.

Seven Iranian military teams would participate in the army games to be held in Russia and Kazakhstan from July 30 to Aug. 13.

The teams will compete in various categories, including Sniper Frontier, Tank Biathlon, Suvorov Attack, Elbrus Ring, Airborne Platoon, Seaborne Assault and Depth, according to the report.

Military representatives from 17 countries, including Iran, Russia, China, Egypt, Venezuela, Belarus, and Kazakhstan will reportedly take part in the event. Endit
