Dollar changes hands in upper 104 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 104 yen zone in early deals on Wednesday, marginally higher than levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.81-83 yen compared with 104.59-69 yen in New York and 104.10-11 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0987-0988 dollars and 115.16-17 yen against 1.0982-0992 dollars and 114.90-115.00 yen in New York and 1.1007-1008 dollars and 114.58-62 yen in late afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
