Xinhua, July 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Eleven athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will compete in the 31st Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the largest squad the country had ever dispatched for any Olympics so far, local media reported on Tuesday.

The Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanovic received members of the BiH Olympic team in Sarajevo and hoped that they will successfully and proudly represent BiH at the Olympic Games and come back from Rio with medals.

For the first time, BiH is going to the Olympics with great ambitions, including a hope for a medal, with the best bet on athlete Amela Tuka and judoka Larisa Ceric.

The 24-member BiH Olympic delegation will depart for Rio de Janeiro on July 31. Endit
