U.S. offers condolences to families of victims in Japan attack

Xinhua, July 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

The United States offered its "deepest" condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in a disabilities care facility, the White House said Monday.

A lone male assailant went on a stabbing spree at a care facility for people with disabilities in Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture in the early hours of Tuesday local time, killing at least 19 people and injuring almost 30 others.

"The thoughts of the American people are with our Japanese friends as they mourn the lives lost," said Price. Endi
