China's treasury bond futures closed lower on Monday, with the contract for settlement in September 2016 closing 0.10 percent lower at 101.315 yuan (about 15.15 U.S. dollars).

The December 2016 contract closed 0.08 percent lower at 100.930 yuan. The March 2017 contract closed 0.07 percent lower at 100.620 yuan.
