Tanzania companies look forward to Chinese trade expo

Xinhua, July 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) has urged Tanzanian business firms to participate in China's 2016 Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo.

Godfrey Simbeye, TPSF Executive Director, said the Chinese Expo will provide a golden chance for Tanzanian businesses to showcase and explore new business opportunities.

He said similar to the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, the annual 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo will take place on October 27 in Dongguan city in southern China's Guangdong Province, where exhibitors will be given four days' hotel accommodation and free transport between hotel and the venue of exhibitions.

"This is a golden chance for Tanzania's small, medium and big firms to learn the best practices from other exhibitors across the world," said Simbeye.

He said Tanzanian enterprises could also use the event to get new markets for their products as well as establish partnership contracts with other investors.

"This will enable our country to have an opportunity to exhibit business opportunities of investment, economic and trade cooperation among countries," he said. Endit
