Albania's consumer confidence slightly up in Q2 2016

Xinhua, July 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Albania's Consumer Confidence Indicator edged up 0.3 percent in the second quarter of 2016, the Albanian Daily News reported Friday.

The income and spending of households increased during the period, but their balances fell.

The Services Confidence Indicator showed strong positive dynamics in the second quarter, up 10.2 percent from the previous quarter.

The much stronger confidence in services reflected the rosier assessment of the business situation and demand.

The Trade Confidence Indicator fell by 5.5 percent, while the employment expectation for the next quarter slightly improved by 1.9 percent. Endi
