Russia sends 54th humanitarian convoy to Ukraine's Donbas

Russia has sent yet another humanitarian aid convoy to the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbass, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported Thursday.x "The convoy of fifty cars is carrying over 400 tones of aid: food, medicine, school textbooks, and sports equipment," it said.

This is already the 54th convoy to Donbas since August 2014.

Ukraine's southeast has been severely affected by Kiev's special military operation which launched in April 2014. The operation was a response to local residents' refusal to recognize the new coup-installed government in the country. Endi
