Norway oil production falls 8 pct year-on-year in June

Norway's average daily production of oil in June was 1.44 million barrels, about 8 percent below the production in the same month last year, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) said on Wednesday.

Preliminary production figures for June 2016 show an average daily production of about 1.82 million barrels of oil, natural gas liquids and condensate, the NPD said in a statement.

The average daily liquid production in June included 1.44 million barrels of oil, 342,000 barrels of natural gas liquids and 34,000 barrels of condensate.

Final production figures from May 2016 show an average daily production of about 1.56 million barrels of oil and 0.39 million barrels of natural gas liquids and condensate. Endit
