Italian forward Graziano Pelle scored his first goal in his Chinese Super League debut on Wednesday when Shandong Luneng crushed Hangzhou Greentown 4-1.

Pelle lifted Shandong to 4-0 lead with a header in the 87th minute.

The 31-year-old Italian international player completed the move to Shandong last week.

Pelle played for Dutch side Feyenoord before moving to Southampton in the English Premier League in the summer of 2014. Pelle scored 30 goals during 81 appearances for the Saints.

Pelle's successful experiences in the Premier League made him the starter in the Italian squad for Euro 2016. Pelle sealed the wins for Italy against Belgium in group stage and Spain in round of last 16 respectively. Endit
