Spanish stock market falls 0.08 pct, closes at 8,524 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.08 percent on Monday to close at 8,524.40 points, down from the 8,531 points of Friday.

On Monday session, BBVA shares led falls losing 2.81 percent, followed by Repsol, Abertis A, Gas Natural, Acerinox and Telefonica that lost 0.86 percent, 0.47 percent, 0.31 percent, 0.26 percent and 0.22 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 2.19 percent, followed by IAG, Mapfre, Grifols, Tecnicas Reunidas and Gamesa that rose 1.85 percent, 1.30 percent, 1.16 percent, 1.07 percent and 0.83 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 125.80 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.24 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday's closing time. Endit
